Our first stop on the way to Nashville, TN is in Mebane - I don't know where the hell that is - North Carolina!


They do at least have a nice McDonalds where I am sitting to type this.  :)   Oh, and it has a Playplace too!  haha


I'll post some pictures when we stop somewhere with actual scenery!  

Tomorrow morning, very early, I will be leaving on a trip with my two 14 year old daughters to Nashville, TN. I plan on blogging about our adventures, including pictures along the way. We'll be traveling right around 700 miles by car.  I hope the scenery is worth it!  This will be my daughter's first trip anywhere near mountains and I am super excited to get to experience that with her.

Jennifer and I are nearing the finish line. Our first book in The Awakening Series - "Birthrights" is almost complete.  We have posted some short stories and still have a couple more to post as we finish those up too.  I know we are both really excited about the prospects of having not only finished after a long two years, but having people actually get to read what we've been working on.
