I don't normally blog about food. In general I like to keep it simple and write about things like books, TV shows, and movies. There's no real rhyme or reason as to what I choose to write about. I think it boils down to timing. If I have time for the blog and feel the words forming, I sit down and write the review.
Today, I had the best sub ever, lots of time, and free-flowing thoughts- so here it is.
Two words: Jersey Mike's!
They have, hands down, the best subs around. After eating at Jersey Mike's you will literally smack yourself for having meandering your way into a Subway line. Jersey Mike's gives "Eat Fresh" new meaning, as you watch them slice the meat that goes on your sandwich - no pre-sliced, packaged meats for them!
I enjoyed my Club-Sub prepared "Mike's Way" with Mayo. The yummy fresh goodness of it actually made the rest of the day seem a bit dimmer. Seriously, it was that good!
Sure, it's a bit more expensive than a $5 foot long, but I will pay for the better product any day!
Check the locations and if you're close by or road tripping near a store, do yourself a favor and stop in for a bite to eat! You will thank me for the tip!
