Events, Covid, and Our Hopes for the Future

As many of you know, Christine Michelle/Christine M. Butler has a daughter who is Type 1 Diabetic and immune compromised.

As Covid is still not under control in the United States (at time of posting), all future in person signing events are being handled on a case-by-case basis.

As of January 20, 2021, no events are planned until April of this year and that event (High Octane Author Experience) is currently listed as a possibility only. We will make a determination by the end of February.

We want to take a moment to thank every single person out there who is trying to slow/stop the spread, and who takes other people's health and wellbeing seriously.

Christine has other children who have been sick with covid recently, after being exposed through their work with the public. One of them is still trying to recover, and it's been a slow process. Please, do your part to protect the people who are trying to keep everything running for you!

Thank you to all the health care workers out there who are overworked, underpaid, and overexposed! We appreciate you all so much.

We also want to thank everyone who makes it easier to keep our daily lives running smoothly (farmers, grocery, pharmacy staff, trucking, food industry, postal, and delivery personnel), even as we have to limit contact with the world. You will never understand how grateful we are for you!

We are hopeful that with vaccination underway, things will calm down for the future and we can once again plan public events without as much worry.

We would also like to take a moment to remember those who have succumbed to COVID. Our hearts are with the families who mourn them, the medical staff who have seen far too much death, and those who are still struggling to get well!

Love to you all from our family to yours!
