People often ask me why "X" book isn't out yet. Sometimes, the answer is simply because it is being worked on. Other times, the answer is because "I'm not feeling it", and then there is the business answer - the series isn't making enough to sustain me taking time on another release.
Things that would change the order when I take a closer look are: Highest Grossing to worst If a book was free for a long time (Shadows of the Ancients and Birthrights are examples) Book prices ($0.99 vs 3.99) Royalty % (some royalties are 35% others are up to 70%) Time in publication (if the gross is weak after years vs if it looks lower because the book has only been out a month or two) Beginning books in a series that spent a long time at $0.99 (35% royalty) and special books at same price (Dancing with Danger, Angel Girl, The Infinite Something, A Year and a Day, Proven, Smoke and the Flame are examples) I have 57 titles total published under my names. There are 49 books in the list (two sets of tied books at #7 and #24) and eight titles not included in this lineup because they are out of circulation for good.
HIGHEST GROSSING BOOKS TO WORST (Year of publication is next to each book along with series info.) The Other Princess (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 1 - 2019) Falling into the White (The Ancients Series Book 2 - 2013) Revelations (The Awakening Trilogy Book 2 - 2011-2016, currently out of circulation) Redemption Weather (Aces High MC - Cedar Falls Book 1- 2019) The Princess and the Prospect (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 3 - 2019) A Love so Hard (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 4 - 2019) JoJo (S.H.E. MC Book 2 - 2019). TIED WITH The Killing Ride (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 4 - 2019) Incarnations (The Awakening Trilogy Book 3 - 2011-2016) Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (Aces High MC - Dakotas 2019) Branches of the Willow (The Ancients Series Book 3 - 2013) Everlasting (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 6 - 2020) Wait for Me (Savage Vipers MC Book 1 - 2022) Crushed (Aces High MC - Tallahassee Book 1 - 2020) The Forgotten Wife (Robeson Family Novel Book 1 - 2020) His Bittersweet Regret (stand alone - 2022) A Twist of Fate (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 5 - 2019) The Restart and the Remedy (Aces High MC - Dakotas Book 3 - 2020) The Broken Beginning Part 1 (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 8 - 2021) Dancing with Danger (Aces High MC - Dakotas Book 1 - 2018) Shadows of the Ancients (The Ancients Series Book 1 - 2013 - many years free/$0.99) Letters to Lily (stand alone 2015) Angel Girl (S.H.E. MC Book 1. 2019) The Broken Beginning Part 2 (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 9 2021) Proven (Aces High MC - Cedar Falls Book 3 - 2019) TIED WITH Keys (S.H.E. MC book 3 - 2021) Bound by the Moon (The Ancients Series Book 4 - 2014) Aces High MC - Charleston Box Set 1 (books 1-5 - 2019) Smoke and the Flame (Aces High MC - Cedar Falls Book 2 - 2019) Devastate Me (Savage Vipers MC Book 2 - 2023) The Infinite Something (TIE Book 1 - 2018) The Infinite Beat (TIE Book 2 - 2019) Revived (Valhalla Rising Book 1- 2020) Ghosted by Texas (Loved for the Holidays Book 2 - 2022) Entwined (Vukodlak Brew Series Book 1 - 2017) Enraged (Vukodlak Brew Series Book 2 - 2020) Redemption Duet (Aces High MC - Charleston Box books 1 & 2 - 2019) Cupid Broke my Heart (Loved for the Holidays Book 1 - 2022) Ridden by Darkness (Dark Leopards MC Book 1 - 2020) Surprise Me (Savage Vipers MC Book 3 - 2023) A Year and a Day (Aces High MC - Charleston Book 6 - 2020) The Fortunate Ones (TFO Book 1 - 2020) The Groupie Journal (stand alone - 2021) The B Team (Dark Leopards MC Book 2 - 2020) Aces High MC - Charleston Box Set 2 - 2022) Birthrights (The Awakening Trilogy Book 1 - 2011-2016 most of life free) The Voodoo Follies (2011) Breathless (Death Viewers Series - 2014) Catch a Falling Star (Falling Star Series - 2013) I mentioned "things that would change the order" earlier. By that I meant "Order of Importance" as per what I look for when I decide which books to focus on next. Sometimes, it's down to what I'm feeling at the moment. Some of those "feeling it" books were surprise releases, when I was supposed to be focused on other books, and many of them are in the top twenty! That is a huge consideration for me, because when I'm in the zone with a book - it usually makes a bigger impact with readers. Six of the top twenty titles were surprise books (including The Other Princess and Redemption Weather). Something else I take into account is this: Devastate Me and Surprise Me are numbers 28 and 38 on this list, which would look like that series is doing awful, except they have both been released for less than a month. With Wait for Me in the top twenty, and the other two titles outpacing so many other books in less than a month, it makes the series a priority for me to finish. Outside of time, I factor in free and $0.99 runs. Both Shadows of the Ancients (20) and Birthrights (44) were free for a long time. Shadows hold the record for most downloads of all my books, even though it comes in at #20 and it is followed by Birthrights even though it is #44. So, despite those two first books in a series not doing as well monetarily, despite time available, they were advertising for the other books in the series that did do well. So, if there were more books in those series, they would be pushed through ahead of everything else (as long as I was feeling the writing). I also factor in outside contributing factors, such as with The Fortunate Ones. For the first few weeks of release, Amazon had that book hidden, and flagged as erotica, so no one could find it. By the way, that is my tamest book outside of my YA titles, and the cover models were wearing layers of clothing. How it got flagged as erotica is still beyond me, but it killed my book launch and lost that book momentum. So, when I look at how low down the list it is, I factor that in, and still plan to release the other four books in that series. Which books are coming soon? Bad at Love (Bad at Love Book 1) by Christine Michelle Baby Me (Savage Vipers MC Book 4) by Anne Storm Echoes of Everything (Aces High MC - TallahasseeBook 2) by Christine Michelle When the Last Petal Falls (Robeson Family Novel Book 2) by Christine Michelle And more to come...

SAVAGE VIPERS MC SERIES BY ANNE STORM 1) When will each book be released? 2) Which characters are getting their books now? I've been asked those two questions a lot over the past couple weeks. ANSWER:
After going back and correcting timeline and story continuity issues that were written into the books accidentally when I worked on devastate Me while sick (and after popping it in out of order to get it to people quicker)... I had to change a couple things and I added one book to the mix (plus a special edition). Below is the new order of release, though dates are not yet available for some, I can tell you they will all be coming relatively quickly. BOOK 1 - Wait for Me (released on Feb 28, 2022)
Star and Bagger BOOK 2 - Devastate Me (released on March 2, 2023)
Nova and Breakneck BOOK 2 - Devastate Me Special Edition (released on March 2, 2023)
Nova and Breakneck BOOK 2.5 - Surprise Me (Releases March 10-11, 2023)
Tripp, June, and Kim (young Tripp when he prospected) BOOK 3 - Baby Me (coming soon)
Tripp, June, and Davina (Prez during current time period) BOOK 4 - Patch Me (coming soon)
Scout and Kip BOOK 5 - Share Me (coming soon)
Mitzi, Skully, and Trench *NOTE: Seeing three names does not mean that all three of those people get a happily ever after. It just means that there were multiple relationships during the course of their story in some cases. (a third party played an important part). **ALSO OF NOTE - SURPRISE ME - was meant to be Trip's extended prologue for Baby Me. I originally wanted to write a novella because a prologue didn't do enough justice to Kim's story and I felt she deserved her happy ending.
She gets one in Surprise Me. While this book became a full-length novel, it remains listed as book 2.5 because it was only meant to enhance your experience with book three and not the series overall. Surprise Me is a look into Tripp's past (outside of the timeline for the other books). I absolutely loved writing Kim's story, though, so I hope everyone takes the time to read it.

I get asked questions about reading orders all the time, especially about the Aces High MC multi-series book world. Some other questions I get are about other woman drama, cheating, and angst levels. I'm going to try to address all of them here in one place. All books listed below are written under Christine Michelle unless otherwise stated! READING ORDER FOR MC BOOKS There is no particular series reading order for the AHMC. Each series has the books numbered in the order you should read them, but most can be read in any order you wish. All of the AHMC and S.H.E. MC Series take place around the same time, with the exception of AHMC - Cedar Falls. That takes place ten years in the future from the other books. It doesn't matter, if you want to start there, you can. Each series was designed to operate independently from the others. There are cameos throughout all the series from characters that belong to other series, but those cameos are not important to interconnected storylines. If there was an order (and THERE IS NOT), chronologically it would follow the list below (for each series, not per book). Also, each series listed states whether it is "incomplete" (more books to come) or "complete" (final book has already been released) next to the series title. MOTORCYCLE CLUB ROMANCE SERIES Other Women/Other Man Drama and Cheating Books (categorized for convenience starting with the most trigger inducing. Some books fit into multiple categories because life is messy - even in books.) It is possible that I am forgetting a title or two in these lists, but will add them later if need be. If you see something that isn't listed that should be, feel free to comment the title and where you think it should go.

Devastate Me is finally here! When I first accepted the challenge to tackle a few readers' “unicorn book” in a cheating romance group, I already had a few books planned out in the Savage Vipers MC Series. Devastate Me was not one of them, and would have been book 4 if I’d put it in according to the initial plan. I changed things up, in an effort to get the book out to the readers who wanted it sooner. Unfortunately, my health took a serious downturn in early 2022 when I was trying to get Devastate Me finished. Thanks to a combination of how sick I was when working on it and the shuffling of books to fit it in sooner than it was meant to be, the timeline was obliterated. What was worse, was that I was working on books 3 and 4 (originally books 2 & 3) at the same time, so those books were all wrong, too (as far as the timeline and story continuity). If Wait for Me had not already been published, it would have been an easier, one-book fix, but that was not the case. The other reason for the delay: Thanks to the ongoing issues with piracy, and Amazon flagging books for potential copyright infringements, I have also been waiting to get the official copyright for this book prior to release. Now, on to the good stuff! There are TWO VERSIONS of this book that will be for sale. Devastate Me Devastate Me Special Edition The original (unpublished) version of Devastate Me was a little over 85,000 words long. A majority of the first book was scrapped because there was no way to keep that material and have it fit with the timeline. So, that is where the bonus material for the special edition comes in. They are scenes that ended up on the cutting room floor, from the first version of the book. The new (published) version ended up being over 133,110 words long (which is gigantic for a single romance novel). It is my largest novel written to date and that word count doesn’t include the bonus material in the special edition! The bonus chapters (from the original unpublished version) add an extra 34,374 words to the special edition. The Special Edition Ebook of Devastate Me is available exclusively from the Moonlit Dreams Publications website. Get it here! The regular ebook edition of Devastate Me can be purchased here right now! If you want to grab the t-shirt Nova wore when Breakneck first sees her, you can get one here! There are socks too and they come in a variety of styles and colors! When will the book go live in other bookstores?
The Devastate Me paperback has already been uploaded and approved. It will be live as soon as Amazon goes through their typical publication process. Ebooks will be available as soon as they are released by the various online seller platforms (Amazon, B&N, Kobo, Kobo+, Scribd, iBooks, Google, Smashwords, and the public library systems). Look for them to become available over the next week (libraries usually take longer to process). Once all the links are live (with exception of the public library system, since they take so long), I will send another newsletter to include those links as well as updating this forum post!

Check out the latest MDP newsletter here! (Be aware, the ebook link in the newsletter was broken - and can be found below instead) Get the Birthrights ebook here! Get the Birthrights paperback here! The Awakening Trilogy relaunch that was scheduled for 2022 was postponed due to unforeseen health complications. It is now back on track. Birthrights (book 1) released today! The rest of the books will follow about 2-4 weeks apart as they are finalized. The e-book format will only be available here on the Moonlit Dreams Publications website until all ebooks are available, then they will be published to wide distribution on the same day! These books are the first paranormal suspense/urban fantasy/paranormal romance titles originally written under Christine M. Butler to be transfer to the Christine Michelle name. The pen name, Christine M. Butler is being retired by the end of 2023. Here is a look at the Birthrights paperback full cover wrap! This paperback is 556 pages. Paperbacks will be available from Amazon on the same day the ebooks release via MDP! ABOUT PAPERBACK PRICING I have the price set to $16 (USD) on these paperbacks, which means they could not go into extended distribution and are available via Amazon exclusively right now. Even if I priced them at $19 each, my royalty from Amazon on extended distribution is only $0.08 per book. I am working on other options for extended distribution vs cost since I'm not fond of having to charge nearly $20 for a paperback and then basically giving it away for free anyway while Amazon keeps nearly every penny of my hard work. That's insane. My author cost to purchase one of these paperbacks (with shipping included) is $10.29. So, while I will eventually order some for a signed copy sale on the website, the sale price for signed copies will no longer be able to meet my previous $10 threshold. Costs are rising for everything and books are no exception. As per usual, I wanted to be transparent about the pricing and why it's higher than it has been in the past. Indie authors have the luxury of out pricing major publishers on e-books, but we can't touch the mass market paperback prices when we use print on demand publishing. It's a bit of give and take. On a personal note: I appreciate the messages and apologize for not being able to get back to them in a timely manner. I do have my glasses in now and am back to work. I will also be back online soon, but social media is going to be limited to a few days per week to cut down on eyestrain and focus on work. Yes, Devastate Me and other books that have hit the back burner because of my health issues are still impending too (you will see another newsletter and announcement very soon about that and a surprise book that is coming soon, too).

Ghosted by Texas (Loved for the Holidays #2) by Anne Storm is uploaded and ready to go for those of you who preordered! It will arrive, on schedule, on Oct. 4, 2022! We're counting down to the release now! Click here for Amazon Preorders! Click here for Kobo Preorders! Click here for Google Play Preorders! Click here to get it from our website! This is the requested follow up book to Cupid Broke my Heart. Cupid was originally meant to be a standalone romantic comedy for Valentine's Day. Everyone wanted to know more about Clea's best friend, Becs and Houston's brother, Austin. Ghosted by Texas is their book! It is more dramedy than comedy (for obvious reasons if you already read book 1). For everyone who didn't preorder, the book will be available on our the Moonlit Dreams Publication website, Kobo, Smashwords, and Google Play's Book Store on October 4, 2022 (or Oct. 3, 2022, depending on where you live, due to keeping up with worldwide time zones). It will be available everywhere else (Barnes & Noble, iBooks, Scribd, and more) within a week of release (as they have a longer approval time for issuing live links). About the Book: Austin Loyalty to a life-long friendship cost me everything! I wasn’t sure if Becs would ever allow me to atone for my screwups, but I was going to use every trick in the book to earn the only treat I ever wanted. Her! Becs My heart ached for the loss of the man I once loved. It ached even more when I found out I was carrying his baby. Finding out the reason he ghosted me... Made my heart hurt worse. He had been tricked. Could I love a ghost? There was only one way to find out. This book is 93,678 words long, which is quite a bit longer than Cupid Broke my Heart! Fair warning: Before you start this book, you need to read the Author's Notes section, as it includes important information! I'll post it here as well: From the Author's Note in the book: These books were made to be told from one point of view only. I thought you guys deserved to see Austin’s POV for a couple scenes though. It’s not included in the main body of the story, so as not to ruin the way the book was intended to be written. Instead, you have an interactive choice. Read through the book as written and ignore the Chapter 5 and 12 bonus scenes from Austin’s point of view. Stop at the end of Chapter 5, and click the link at the end of the chapter, to read the bonus scene. There will be another link at he end of the bonus scene to bring you straight back to Chapter 6. (If read this way, Austin’s POV is in keeping with the timeline of the story, as if it had been written in where it belonged). Rinse and repeat for Chapter 12 bonus material. Wait until you finish the book and then read the bonus scenes. There are no wrong choices, as long as you enjoy your reading experience! For those of you who wish there were more bonus scenes: Chapter 14 doesn’t have a bonus scene at the end of the book, but it was sort of already written in Cupid Broke my Heart (from Clea’s perspective). If you’re curious, and want to revisit that scene, you can check it out in Chapter 10, near the end of the chapter. For those of you who like to use the search feature in e-readers to make things easier, type in: Houston set me down And read the rest of Chapter 10 from that point in Cupid Broke my Heart. You will see what happened with Austin after Becs left the scene (through Clea's eyes). Happy Reading!

This has been an incredibly trying year for me. Every time I think I have a handle on life, another wrench is thrown into the works. Books are still incoming, but my vision took another hit that needed to be corrected again. I simply can't see when things are blurring and migraines are causing kaleidoscoping vision, too. I can't be on social media right now, as I am trying to get my eyeballs back in working order and not burn them out again before these books release. A newsletter will be available soon with release dates. Each book listed (except Ghosted by Texas) will be available via Moonlit Dreams Publications two weeks in advance of the wide publication date. On my short list for publication: We will also be adding more books for sale on the website (backlist titles that are not currently available here).

Birthrights, book one in what was once The Awaking Trilogy, was the first novel I ever published, way back in the summer of 2011. The series was originally a trilogy that was meant to have a spin-off from one of the side-character's point of view (Beyond the Awakening). There was a lot of personal heartache involved in this series that kept it on the back burner for a great many years. Eventually, I pulled the trilogy from publication so that I could take my time in fixing early, novice mistakes that were made among other things. When I first started working on this novel (series) in 2009, I hit roadblock after roadblock that were all down to confidence - the lack thereof. I was already published in the newspaper world and in poetry anthologies but putting my own work out there, with only my name backing it, was a scary proposition. It led to writer's block in a weird way. I think writer's block is a misnomer sometimes, in that my creativity wasn't blocked. I had plenty of ideas and directions I wanted to go. I just lacked the confidence to make any of them stick and ended up floundering. My friend at the newspaper where I worked, had written stories with me previously (for fun). So, I asked her to help me put this thing together and keep me focused. Originally, I had intended for the story to be told in first person. Jennifer L. Oliver was a third person writer at the time, and didn't mesh well with first, so I rewrote what I already had in the third person to make it easier for her to help with the story. When we were finished with Birthrights and started moving on to Revelations (book two), Jennifer and I decided to part ways. I took the series (The Awakening Trilogy) that I created and she took the series that she created that we'd been working on as well (The Haedyn Chronicles). Since the first book in my trilogy was already out, I chose to continue with it in the third person. While writing the third book, Incarnations, my computer was damaged and the entire manuscript was lost two weeks prior to publication. It was my first lesson in always having a backup copy. I was left with nothing more than my notes and the memories of what I'd written before. The third book - in my opinion - was crap because it was literally me - as a novice author - trying to piece back together a book that had already been written. It was a heartbreaking lesson for me and made working on anything else in that series a pain in the butt. There were also some family tragedies around this time, including my youngest daughter nearly dying and being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, finding out my boyfriend was a serial cheating psychopath (later a stalker), my ex-husband had stolen from me and invaded my privacy while my baby girl was in the hospital, and the aforementioned boyfriend became a stalker that forced me to move several times. To say this book/series had a lot of negativity attached to it was an understatement. I started and stopped the Beyond the Awakening spin-off so many times it wasn't funny. There are probably thirty different variations of the story and the biggest problem was that third person just didn't work for the story I wanted to tell. So, I decided to change things up and completely re-do this series the way it was meant to be done initially. The problem was, every time I started to work on it, I had to set it aside to work on new books to help pay the bills, or something would happen that put everything on hold while I dealt with family, illness, and other issues. Life is tough sometimes, especially when you're basically a one-woman show! I promised to have this series done by certain times during 2022, and that got blown out of the water when I got sick with Covid the first time. Then I was injured, my daughter was back in the hospital, my editor had her own Diabetic emergencies, and then my son got Covid and gave it to my parents (before he realized he was sick). I had to care for all of them before getting sick again myself. Like I said, life is tough sometimes. It's been a wild (not in a good way) year for me. Despite that, I finally have these books ready to start re-releasing! I'm so freaking happy to finally be at this stage because these are my babies. They are the books that started my career, and they deserve their time to shine again! Birthrights will be re-released in August, 2022! Revelations will be re-released in September. Incarnations will be re-released in October. Beyond - the new edition to the story - will be released in November. They are being stagger-released because I am trying to time them with audiobook releases as well! For those of you who have been asking for audios of this series for years - you will finally get them! I will be releasing them through Findaway Voices, where I have control over the pricing, so they will also be available at a far more affordable price than my previously released audiobooks that were published via ACX (who does not allow authors/publishers to set the prices). All four books will be available in ebook, paperback, hardback, and audiobook formats when they release!

I'm going to make this short and sweet, so I can get back to setting everything up and back to business! 1) My laptop screen fell out of the laptop. I ordered a new iMac when this happened. It was supposed to be here in July (due to whatever delays they have in getting supplies these days). While waiting, my laptop was still working (just had to keep popping the screen in to use it. Sadly, the last time the laptop was closed (by one of my kids who didn't know) - the screen fell out again and would no longer work. This was a Gateway laptop I purchased. Apparently, (wish I'd known this sooner) they are notorious for this happening. :( My scheduled iMac purchase was also messed up and I was informed that it wouldn't be arriving until late August now. That was obviously unacceptable since I need SOMETHING to work on NOW! So, I was finally able to go to an Apple store (2 hours from where I live) to pick up a new work computer yesterday. I am getting that set up today. It is going to take a couple days to get everything set up and find a way to transfer files from my laptop to the iMac. It's being worked on. As soon as I am done, I will catch everyone up. 2) I am also recovering from a neck injury from a fall. It took me down for a while, where I wasn't able to sit up to type (even if my laptop hadn't been busted). Thank you to my two giant dogs and the cat they decided to chase, they pulled me off my porch and I hurt my neck, upper back, and right shoulder seriously in the fall. I'm doing better. Not my best. Things work well enough for me to work, once I get the new computer set up. 3) For those few readers who left NASTY messages for me about books not being released, while I was recovering from a neck injury and a busted laptop, I don't appreciate them. You will be blocked from my social media, and if you never read another book of mine - I'm okay with that! I AM A HUMAN BEING - NOT A MACHINE. Things happen. I've had a horrible year that started out with a particularly nasty bout of COVID, my editor has had some medical issues as well, my son came home with an injury, and now this. It has put me very far behind where I planned to be for this year and no one is more disappointed in that fact than I am! That being said: I WILL NOT TOLERATE THE LEVEL OF DISRESPECT IN SOME OF YOUR MESSAGES! If you think being nasty and having an attitude will get you a book quicker, you're wrong. If I could stop you from buying my books altogether after those messages, I absolutely would! They were uncalled for, and you have ZERO clue what is going on behind the scenes to cause delays. For the rest of you, thank you for patience. It's been an awful year, as I said. Between illness, injury, and some family things it has been very difficult to manage and keep up a positive attitude, let alone get work done. I do apologize for delays, but some things are out of my control. As they say: Shit happens. 2022 seems to be the shittiest of shit years so far. I hope like hell that we've seen the worst of it over here because I have a lot of books to get published and audiobooks that are in the works. 4) I will update with new dates as soon as everything is set up again. I had to order a USB to USB-C converter to be able to pull files from my laptop to my Mac. Once that's here, I should be good to go, as the files are the last thing I need. After Devastate Me and Evermore release, I will NOT give any further release dates for books. They will publish when they publish and you can find out about new releases via the website, app, Facebook, and newsletter. This is directly because of the nasty messages I received while recuperating.
